FAQ

What is a cash-secured put?
Selling a put option while holding enough cash to buy 100 shares per contract at the strike if assigned. The seller collects a credit up front.
Why require no earnings before expiry?
Earnings announcements can move a stock sharply, so implied volatility and gap risk around them are much higher.
What does delta −0.20 to −0.30 mean?
Roughly a 20–30% market-implied chance the put finishes in the money. Delta is an approximation, not a probability guarantee.
